About Us

Pamela Edwards-Swift has been practicing law since 1986.  She began her legal career in the field of civil litigation, representing construction contractors, businesses, and landowners, among others.  In 1997 she transitioned her practice to family law, representing both men and women going through divorces, or other family law matters.  In 2005, Ms. Swift became a Certified Family Law Specialist, certified by the State Bar of California, Board of Legal Specialization.   

Certified Specialists are required to pass a written examination in their legal specialty; continue to demonstrate a broad-based and comprehensive experience in their designated specialty; must regularly complete continuing education in their specialty; and regularly receive favorable evaluations by other attorneys and judges familiar with the attorneys’ work.   

Ms. Swift has also been honored as a Super Lawyer continuously since 2010. 

In 2020, Ms. Swift transitioned from litigation to alternative dispute resolution.  Ms. Swift has had more than a hundred hours of training in mediation practices and collaborative family law. 

In addition to assisting in mediating court matters, Ms. Swift volunteers her time for the Inland Empire Legal Aid Society and the Los Angeles County Settlement Officer Program. 

On a personal note, Ms. Swift is married and is a mother and grandmother.   In her private time, she enjoys spending time with friends and family.  She also enjoys travel both domestically and internationally.
